What Changed vs 2025?
Tier-I Sectional Timer — STRICT 15 Min Each [KEY CHANGE]
Tier-I mein har section ke liye ab 15 minutes ka hard sectional timer hai. Section automatically close ho jaata hai timer khatam hone par. Total time same hai — 60 minutes — lekin ab aap ek section ka time dusre mein use nahi kar sakte. Candidates jo strong sections mein extra time dete the — unhe apni strategy completely revise karni hogi.
Tier-II Paper-I — Section-wise Hard Timers [KEY CHANGE]
Tier-II Paper-I mein: Section-I (Math + Reasoning) = 1 hour with 30 min each part. Section-II: English = 40 min, GA = 20 min. Section-III (CKT) = 15 min. Session-II (DEST) = 15 min. Har section sequentially auto-lock hoga. Previously candidates ke paas session mein kuch flexibility thi — wo completely gone hai ab.
New Website — ssc.gov.in (Old OTR Invalid)
Applications ab sirf ssc.gov.in par hongi. Purana ssc.nic.in ka OTR yahan kaam nahi karega. Naya OTR banana hoga. Ek baar bana liya toh future exams ke liye bhi valid rahega.
mySSC Mobile App — Apply from Phone Now
SSC ka official mySSC mobile app Google Play Store par available hai. Ab phone se bhi apply kar sakte ho. App mein live photo capture hoga — pre-existing photo upload nahi hogi. Aadhaar authentication se photo/signature rejection nahi hogi.
Form Correction Charges — Defined Clearly
Correction window: 29 Jun–1 Jul 2026. 1st correction: ₹200. 2nd correction: ₹500. Maximum 2 corrections allowed. Sab candidates ke liye — category/gender se koi exemption nahi. Pehli baar sahi bharo — save karo ₹700.
Overall Structure — Mostly Same
Posts, pay levels, qualification requirements, age limits, negative marking rules — sab same hai. Tier-I ka 200 marks format same. Tier-II ke Paper-II (Statistics) aur Paper-III (Finance & Economics) same. Sirf sectional timers aur application platform badla hai.

Educational Qualification
- All posts (except JSO, SI Grade-II, AAO State): Bachelor's Degree from any recognized University. As on 01-08-2026.
- Junior Statistical Officer: Graduation in any subject with minimum 60% in Maths at 12th level — OR — Graduation with Statistics as a subject at degree level.
- Statistical Investigator Grade-II: Graduation in Statistics / Mathematics / Economics / Demography / IT / CS / Data Science / AI / Computer Application.
- AAO State Cadre: Graduation + Proficiency certificate in State's Regional language at matriculation level.
- Final year students can apply — but must possess the degree by 01-08-2026.
- Open/Distance Learning degrees accepted only if approved by Distance Education Bureau, UGC for the relevant period.

Step-by-Step Application Guide
Step 1: Go to ssc.gov.in OR download mySSC app from Google Play Store.
Step 2: Complete new One-Time Registration (OTR) — ssc.nic.in ka purana OTR invalid hai yahan.
Step 3: Opt for Aadhaar-based authentication (recommended) — photo/signature rejection se bachoge.
Step 4: Fill application. App mein live photo capture hogi — plain background, no glasses/cap/mask.
Step 5: Signature upload — JPEG/JPG, 10–20 KB, 6cm × 2cm.
Step 6: Pay ₹100 fee (BHIM UPI / Net Banking / Debit Card) → Submit before 22 June 2026 (23:00 hrs).
Fee Exempt: Women, SC, ST, PwBD, Ex-Servicemen (reservation eligible).
